A Blend of Heritage & Modern Design

Anyone been to Hoppa, one of the leading authentic Sri Lankan food & special Hoppers restaurant located in Galle Fort?

The cool concept of the logo by itself makes it appealing let alone trying the food or experiencing the ambiance in the place. It’s not for nothing they say that he, Isuru works magic when it comes to designing and colour combinations. It is very evident at Hoppa, that the his meticulous attention to even the tiniest detail that has breathed life into the space turning it into an olden type of a modern day hip and a stylish up-to-the-minute place that makes you want to be in.

A Calm, Inviting Atmosphere

The total area of the site is only 340 sqft but who could say it’s a small space when it’s adorned by the right factors by the right person for direction. Hoppa appears rather spacious and very comfortable despite of the actual space in numbers. The ceiling is Rustic and pine wooded. The flooring is terracotta. Pine wooded, Rustic toned ceiling combined with a terracotta flooring has created a magical ambiance and the feeling of a calm setting where the busy feeling literally disappears. Adding to this atmosphere are the furniture created out of solid natural Teak. His decision to climatise all these effects with similar looking doors and windows coupled with ancient looking but modern lamp styled White lanterns in the form of a circular chandelier transports you into a different period of time. A time that is very soothing and makes you want to stay there. To add to this sensation he has cherry-picked a country side colour of a mustard tone to dress the walls and temporal green for furnishing the sofas.
